EXCEPTIONS, ALTERNATES AND ENFORCEMENT

§ 17.64.010. Exceptions to applicability of Title 17 provisions.

This title shall not apply to any parcel not conforming to the provisions herein, for which a deed is of record or for which a contract of sale was in full force and effect, and recorded prior to the effective date of the ordinance codified herein, nor to any land dedicated for cemetery purposes under the Health and Safety Code. In addition, pursuant to Section 66412.5 of the Government Code or its successor, this title shall not apply to subdivisions of four parcels or less for construction of removable commercial buildings having a floor area of less than one hundred square feet.

§ 17.64.020. Alternative processing permitted.

Nothing contained in this title shall prevent any owner from processing a division of land as a subdivision.

§ 17.64.030. Compliance required—Enforcement.

No building shall be constructed nor shall a permit for the construction of a building be issued, nor shall any portion of any parcel be used when not conforming to this title. (Ord. 435-89 § 15.30, 1989)
