§ 15.02.010. Applicability.

  • A. Any person desiring to perform work regulated by currently adopted editions of the California Building Standards Code, and/or any amendments, ordinances or other regulations administered by the Building Department, or that may be adopted and administered in the future, shall secure permits and pay fees as set forth in this chapter.

  • B. The determination of valuation under any of the provisions of this code shall be made by the Building Official. The valuation to be used in computing the permit and plan review fees shall be the total value of all construction work, which includes both labor and materials, for which the permit is issued as well as all finish work, painting, roofing, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, elevators, fire extinguishing systems, paving, profit and overhead, and any other permanent work or permanent equipment.
