1.24.010 - Liability.¶
Liabilities, claims, actions, causes, proceedings, suits, damages, judgements, liens, levies, costs, and expenses of whatever nature, including attorney's fees and disbursements arising out of or in any way relating to the issuance, modification, or denial of a permit or license shall not be imposed upon the City and its elected and appointed officials, officers, employees, and agents.

1.24.020 - Indemnification.¶
An applicant for a permit or license shall indemnify, protect, defend, and hold harmless the City and its elected and appointed officials, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all liabilities, claims, actions, causes, proceedings, suits, damages, judgements, liens, levies, costs, and expenses of whatever nature, including attorney's fees and disbursements arising out of or in any way relating to the issuance or denial of the permit or license, or any actions taken by the City relating to the permit or license.
