§ 1.12.010. Date.

Pursuant to Sections 1301 and 10403.5 of the California Elections Code, the date of the general municipal election of the city is moved from the first Tuesday after the first Monday in March of each oddnumbered year to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in June of each odd-numbered year.

§ 1.12.020. City council—Terms of office.

In accordance with the change of election date, the terms of office of those members of the city council presently serving shall be extended for a period of approximately three months until election results are declared by the city council.
