9.21.010 Begging and soliciting alms prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person at any place within the City to beg or solicit alms or any other thing or money for his support or for the support of anyone else, or for any other purpose, or to make a business of begging or soliciting alms, money, or thing of value, either by word or act or combination thereof, as hereinafter defined. 9.21.030 Solicitation prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person to act as a canvasser or solicitor at a residence for the purpose of soliciting orders, sales, subscriptions or business of any kind, or seeking information or donations at any residence, at which is posted a sign stating “No Soliciting,” “No Solicitors,” or words of similar import.
