Cerritos Municipal Code Ch. 10.08 Intersections

The intersection hereafter designated is determined to be hazardous and dangerous to life and property by reason of the volume of traffic at same, and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles shall stop at the following designated entrance to such intersection:

(1) Carmenita Road and 166th Street, easterly and westerly entrances;

(2) 183rd Street and Studebaker Road, westerly entrance;

(3) 183rd Street and Marquardt Avenue, westerly entrance;

(4) 166th Street and Marquardt Avenue, westerly entrance.

All drivers of vehicles southbound on Bloomfield Avenue at its intersection with Del Amo Boulevard shall stop at the northerly entrance to such intersection, when signs are erected giving notice thereof.

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles eastbound and westbound on South Street shall stop at and before entering the intersection of Carmenita Road and South Street.

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles northbound and southbound on Bloomfield Avenue shall stop at and before entering the intersection of 183rd Street and Bloomfield Avenue.

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles eastbound on the service road from Producers Livestock Marketing Association shall stop at and before entering the intersection of Carmenita Road and the service road.

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles northbound and southbound on Shoemaker Avenue shall stop at and before entering the intersection of 166th Street and Shoemaker Avenue.

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles eastbound and westbound on 166th Street shall stop at and before entering the intersection of Shoemaker Avenue and 166th Street.
