§ 9162.1. Off-Street Parking - General Requirements.

Every use shall be required to provide the number of off-street parking spaces which satisfies the needs of the use. The required parking spaces shall be used only for the purpose of parking trucks, standard and compact automobiles, and other vehicles as designated. The required off-street parking may be at grade, above grade or below grade and may be open or within a partially or fully enclosed parking structure; provided, that parking below grade for residential uses shall be subject to the review and approval of a Development Plan by the Planning Commission pursuant to CMC § 9172.23 (Site Plan and Design Review). Every parking space shall be directly accessible from a vehicular driveway or aisle unless otherwise specified.
