Calimesa Municipal Code Ch. 17.05 General Provisions

The ordinance codified in this title shall be known as the “subdivision ordinance, regulations for the division of land” of the city of Calimesa.

The purpose of these regulations is:

A. To encourage orderly development by providing for the regulation and control of the design and improvement of a subdivision with a proper consideration of its relation to adjoining areas; and

B. To ensure that areas within the subdivision dedicated for public purposes will be properly improved by the subdivider and will not become an undue burden on the community.

A. This title is adopted pursuant to the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act.

B. All land divisions in the city of Calimesa as hereinafter defined are subject to all applicable provisions of the Subdivision Map Act and of this title.
