§ 72020

If a petition signed by not less than 10 percent of the voters of the proposed improvement district requesting that an election be held on the formation thereof is presented to the board before the effective date of the resolution of formation, the board shall by resolution call a special election in the proposed improvement district for the purpose of submitting the question of the formation of the improvement district to the voters of the proposed improvement district.
