§ 43530

The board may acquire by condemnation all property it deems necessary for the construction, maintenance, improvement, and operation of the works or the carrying out of the project of the district, except that private property devoted to the use of one water storage district or any irrigation district or other district or any city or county shall not be taken by any water storage district.
