§ 12878.42

The department shall keep a separate account for each maintenance area as to money deposited under Section 12878.39 and expenditures under this chapter in such area. The money in such accounts shall be available to the department for expenditure for the operation and maintenance of the unit for which the maintenance area was formed and from which the money in the account was derived.
