§ 5539

California Public Resources Code · 2026-09 edition · updated 2026-09-27 · California

A district:

(a) Has perpetual succession.

(b) May sue and be sued, except as otherwise provided by law, in all actions and proceedings in all courts or tribunals of competent jurisdiction.

(c) May adopt a seal and alter it at pleasure.
