§ 1751.70

(a) Notwithstanding any other law and except as provided in Section 1751.75, on and after January 1, 2022, and until January 1, 2027, or one year after the date emergency regulations are adopted pursuant to Section 1753.1, the department shall not issue a new license to operate a hospice agency pursuant to this chapter.

(b) Hospice facilities licensed under subdivision (n) of Section 1250 are exempt from the moratorium established under subdivision (a).

(Amended by Stats. 2024, Ch. 999, Sec. 1. (AB 177) Effective September 30, 2024. Repealed as of January 1, 2027, pursuant to Section 1751.85.)
