§ 26299.082

It is the intent of the Legislature in enacting this chapter to ensure that counties are not deprived of state funds which might be made available to finance needed regional justice facilities, including adult and juvenile detention facilities, countywide law enforcement facilities, court facilities, other structures necessary or convenient thereto, and prevention programs subsequent to the enactment of this chapter, whether those funds be provided by statute or constitutional amendment.
