§ 65902

Government Code §§ 65800–65912 — Zoning Regulations (Planning and Zoning Law, Chapter 4) · 2026 edition · updated 2026-07-29 · California

  1. In the event that neither a board of zoning adjustment or the office of a zoning administrator has been created and established, the planning commission shall exercise all of the functions and duties of said board or said administrator.

The legislative body of a county may provide that an area planning commission shall exercise all of the functions and duties of a board of zoning adjustment or a zoning administrator in a prescribed portion of the county.
