§ 18657

(a) This chapter shall not apply to any contests conducted under the supervision or control of an entity authorized by the International Olympic Committee or the International Paralympic Committee.

(b) This section shall become inoperative upon the later of December 31, 2028, or the conclusion of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and, as of January 1, 2029, is repealed.

(Added by Stats. 2026, Ch. 354, Sec. 1. (AB 191) Effective September 20, 2026. Conditionally inoperative on or after December 31, 2028, as prescribed by its own provisions. Repealed as of January 1, 2029, by its own provisions.)
