§ 8528

(a) With the approval of the director, the board shall appoint a registrar, fix the registrar’s compensation, and prescribe the registrar’s duties.

(b) The registrar is the executive officer and secretary of the board.

(c) This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2028, and as of that date is repealed, unless a later enacted statute, that is enacted before January 1, 2028, deletes or extends that date.

(Amended by Stats. 2023, Ch. 507, Sec. 2. (SB 813) Effective January 1, 2024. Repealed as of January 1, 2028, by its own provisions.)
