6-1-201: POLICE ADMINISTRATION:¶
The Chief of Police shall administer the traffic laws and shall cooperate with other City officials in developing ways and means to improve traffic in the City. [Formerly numbered Section 29-3; renumbered by Ord. No. 3058, eff. 2/21/87.]

6-1-205: DUTIES OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR:¶
It shall be the general duty of the Public Works Director to determine the proper timing and maintenance of traffic control devices and signals; to conduct engineering analyses of major traffic accidents, to devise remedial measures and to conduct engineering investigation of traffic conditions, and to cooperate with other City officials in the development of ways and means to improve traffic conditions.
