§ 17.08.010. Definitions.¶
Whenever any of the following terms or phrases are used in the Santa Barbara County Code, each such term or phrase shall be deemed and construed to have the meaning ascribed to it in this chapter:
"Building Code," or "Santa Barbara County Primary Building Code"
means Section 17.08.020 of this code.
"City"
shall mean the city of Buellton.
"County," "county of Santa Barbara" or "unincorporated portion of the county"
shall mean the city of Buellton.
"Dangerous Buildings Code"
shall mean Section 17.08.070 of this code.
"Electrical Code"
shall mean Section 17.08.030 of this code.
"Housing Code"
shall mean Section 17.08.060 of this code.
"Mechanical Code"
shall mean Section 17.08.050 of this code.
"Plumbing Code"
shall mean Section 17.08.040 of this code.
"Unreinforced Masonry Building Code"
shall mean Section 17.08.080 of this code.

§ 17.08.020. Adoption of building code.¶
The Santa Barbara County Primary Building Code, codified as Chapter 10, Article III, of the Santa Barbara County Code, is adopted by reference as the Building Code of the city.

§ 17.08.030. Adoption of electrical code.¶
The Santa Barbara County Primary Electrical Code, codified as Chapter 10, Article IV, of the Santa Barbara County Code, is adopted by reference as the Electrical Code of the city.

§ 17.08.040. Adoption of plumbing code.¶
The Santa Barbara County Primary Plumbing Code, codified as Chapter 10, Article V, of the Santa Barbara County Code, is adopted by reference as the Plumbing Code of the city.

§ 17.08.050. Adoption of mechanical code.¶
The Santa Barbara County Primary Mechanical Code, codified as Chapter 10, Article VI, of the Santa Barbara County Code, is adopted by reference as the Mechanical Code of the city.

§ 17.08.060. Adoption of housing code.¶
The Santa Barbara County Primary Housing Code, codified as Chapter 10, Article VII, of the Santa Barbara County Code, is adopted by reference as the Housing Code of the city.

§ 17.08.070. Adoption of dangerous buildings code.¶
The Santa Barbara County Primary Dangerous Building Code, codified as Chapter 10, Article VIII, of the Santa Barbara County Code, is adopted by reference as the Dangerous Buildings Code of the city.

§ 17.08.080. Adoption of unreinforced masonry building code.¶
The Santa Barbara County Primary Unreinforced Masonry Building Code, codified as Chapter 10, Article XV, of the Santa Barbara County Code, is adopted by reference as the Unreinforced Masonry Building Code of the city.

§ 17.08.090. Adoption of relocated buildings regulations.¶
The Santa Barbara County Relocated Buildings Section, codified as Chapter 10, Article IX, of the Santa Barbara County Code, as such code may be amended from time to time, except as amended by this chapter, are adopted by reference as the relocated buildings regulations of the city.

§ 17.08.100. Adoption of private swimming pool regulations.¶
The Santa Barbara County swimming pool regulations, codified as Chapter 10, Article X, of the Santa Barbara County Code, is adopted by reference as the swimming pool regulations of the city.

§ 17.08.110. Violations, enforcement, and penalties.¶
Section 10, Article II, of the Santa Barbara County Code is hereby adopted by reference and amended to include as part of the violation, enforcement, and penalty mechanisms specified in Section 10, Article II, of the Santa Barbara County Code, the violations, enforcement, and penalties provided in Chapter 1.28 of this code.
