§ 2.64.010. City poet laureate.

The city council may appoint a poet laureate of the city, to advocate for the appreciation and advancement of arts, particularly poetry. The poet laureate is appointed for a two year term by the city council, upon the recommendation of the arts commission; and may be removed from office by a majority vote of the city council.

§ 2.64.020. City youth poet laureate.

The city council may appoint a youth poet laureate of the city, to advocate for the appreciation and advancement of arts, particularly poetry. The youth poet laureate is appointed for a two-year term by the city council, upon the recommendation of the arts commission; and may be removed from office by a majority vote of the city council.
