Chapter 20.264 — O OIL PRODUCTION ZONE — Brea Zoning Code

§ 20.264.010. Intent and purpose. ¶

The O (Oil Production) Zone is established to provide for the drilling and production of oil, gas, and other hydrocarbon substances in any zone to which the “O” designation is attached. (Ord. 425, 10-14-1968)

§ 20.264.020. Uses permitted. ¶

The provisions of the zone to which the supplemental O Zone is added shall apply, and the drilling for, removal and storage of oil and hydrocarbons shall be permitted. (Ord. 425, 10-14-1968)

§ 20.264.030. Uses expressly prohibited. ¶

The provisions of the zone to which this supplemental zone is added shall apply. (Ord. 425, 10-14-1968)

§ 20.264.040. Property development standards. ¶

The provisions of the zone to which this supplemental zone is added shall apply. Drilling for, removal and storage of oil and hydrocarbons shall conform to the provisions of Chapter 8.24 of the city code.
