Big Bear Lake Municipal Code Ch. 12.24 Powers of Road Commissioner to Close or Restrict Use of City Highways

Pursuant to the authority of Section 942.6 of the Streets and Highways Code of the state of California, the city council hereby delegates to the road commissioner the powers to restrict the use of, or close, any city highway whenever the commissioner considers such closure or restriction of use necessary:

A. For the protection of the public;

B. For the protection of such city highway from damage during storms;

C. During construction, improvement or maintenance operations thereon.
