7.26.010 Confidentiality of taxpayer information.

All financial information voluntarily provided by taxpayers to the City in connection with the collection of City taxes or fees by the City shall be confidential and shall not be subject to public inspection or disclosure. (Ord. 6683-NS § 1, 2002)

7.26.020 Permissible disclosure.

Notwithstanding the foregoing section such information may be disclosed to City employees charged with the administration or collection of City taxes and fees; City employees charged with auditing the administration and/or collection of City taxes or fees; and other persons employed by the City to audit the administration and/or collection of City taxes or fees. (Ord. 6683-NS § 1, 2002)

7.26.030 Penalty for violation.

Any person who willfully violates this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and such violation by a City employee shall be cause for discharge from the City’s service. (Ord. 6683-NS § 1, 2002)
