4.36.201 Participation date.

Any employee who was a participant in the plan immediately preceding January 1, 2001 shall continue as a participant on and after January 1, 2001. No other employees shall become participants in this plan. (Ord. 6747-NS § 1, 2003)

4.36.202 Cessation of participation.

Participation in the plan continues until the participant’s transfer to the Supplementary Retirement and Income Plan II in accordance with Section 4.36.407, retirement, death or total disability or until the participant terminates employment. (Ord. 6747-NS § 1, 2003)

4.36.203 Inactive participation.

A participant who ceases to be an employee shall be an inactive participant until such time as they again become an employee. No benefits will be payable under Article 7 for total disability resulting from an event which occurs while the participant is an inactive participant. (Ord. 6747-NS § 1, 2003)
