17.05.010 Fees for designated premises.¶
A. Residential and multiple family dwelling premises.
- Every person, firm, corporation or entity desiring to construct a new connection for sewer services to the City's sanitary sewer system shall pay a connection fee in the amount as established by City Council resolution, per dwelling unit served by the connection.
B. All other customer usage classifications.
- Every person, firm, corporation, or entity desiring to construct a new connection for sewer services to the City's sanitary sewer system not included in subsection (A)(1) above shall pay a connection fee as determined by assistant City engineer based upon the volume of water discharging from such premises from any source flows into the sanitary sewers computed on an equivalent basis of that for a single family residential unit. 17.05.011 Payment of connection fees.¶
A. Sanitary sewer connection fees shall be paid directly to the City and shall be paid before any type of building or construction permit is granted to the real property served by the connection to the City sewer.
B. Monies collected from the fees as herein set forth shall be placed in the Sewer Rehabilitation, Replacement and Relief Sewer Account of the Sanitary Sewer Operation, Maintenance and Replacement Fund. The amounts so deposited shall be reserved for expenditures appropriate to that account. (Ord. 6257-NS § 2 (part), 1994)
