§ 18.36.010. Generally.

It is unlawful for any firm, corporation, or person to extend any signs of any nature or kind out over any sidewalk in the city unless the same shall be at least eight feet above the walk. The sign or signs must be wholly supported from the building, and no post or support will be permitted from the street or sidewalk.
