21.12.010 Establishment of Historic Preservation Committee.

A Historic Preservation Committee shall be established by appointment of the City Council. (Ord. 2006-6 § 1, 2006; Ord. 93-5 § 1, 1993.)

21.12.020 Membership.

The Historic Preservation Committee shall consist of eight members appointed by the City Council, all of whom shall be residents of the City and interested in and/or knowledgeable about the history of the City. The Historic Preservation Committee shall include as many as possible, but at least three, members with professional qualifications or demonstrated special interest, experience, or knowledge in architecture, history, real estate and/ or related disciplines. (Ord. 2006-6 § 1, 2006; Ord. 93-5 § 1, 1993.)

21.12.030 Term.

The term shall be four years, except that the first appointment to four of the positions shall be for two years, in order that thereafter the terms will be staggered. (Ord. 93-5 § 1, 1993.)
