§ 12.36.010. Regulations shall control.¶
The rules and regulations set out in this chapter shall control the conduct of all persons in or upon public parks located within the city.

§ 12.36.015. Hours of operation.¶
The hours of operation at all park facilities shall be established by resolution of the city council, or otherwise posted by the chief administrative officer. It is unlawful for any person to use or remain in such facilities in violation of this section without written consent of the department.

§ 12.36.020. Disposal of rubbish.¶
No person, other than an employee of city, shall throw, place or dispose of any garbage, refuse, bottles, glass, crockery or cans in any place in any public park, other than in a receptacle maintained therein for that purpose.

§ 12.36.030. Firearms.¶
No person shall have in his or her possession in any public park any firearm, air gun, slingshot, bow and arrow or BB gun, nor shall any person discharge or shoot any firearm, air gun, slingshot, bow and arrow or BB gun within any public park within the city.

§ 12.36.040. Firecrackers and fireworks.¶
No person shall fire or discharge, in any public park, any fireworks as that phrase is defined in Section 8.20.010 of this code, except as a part of a public fireworks display, as authorized by the city council.

§ 12.36.050. Flora.¶
No person, other than an employee of the city, shall remove, destroy, injure, mutilate or cut any tree, plant, shrub, bloom or flower or any portion thereof growing in any public park.

§ 12.36.060. Turf.¶
No person, other than an employee of the city, shall remove, deface or destroy any wood, turf, grass, soil, rock, sand or gravel from any public park.

§ 12.36.070. Park structures.¶
No person other than an employee of the city shall:
A. Cut, break, injure, deface or disturb any rock, building, cage, pen, monument, sign, fence, bench or any other structure, apparatus or equipment or property of the city, or any portion thereof;
B. Mark or place on any such structure or any portion thereof, any mark, writing or printing;
C. Attach on park property, or any structure or improvement in any park, any sign, card display or other similar device, unless under a policy, if any, adopted by the city council.

§ 12.36.080. Disturbance.¶
No person shall disturb the peace and quiet of any public park by any unduly loud or unusual noise, tumultuous conduct or vulgar or profane or indecent language.

§ 12.36.090. Animals.¶
No person shall bring into any park any kind of animal, except that dogs or cats may be permitted in parks if the same are kept upon a leash under the full control of its owner or person in possession.

§ 12.36.100. Recreation buildings.¶
No person shall use any portion of any recreation or other public building in a public park, at any time, except as herein provided.

§ 12.36.110. Solicitation.¶
No person shall sell or offer for sale any goods, wares, services or merchandise in any public park.

§ 12.36.120. Alcoholic beverages.¶
No person shall consume or have in his or her possession any alcoholic beverage in any park or any park or recreation building in any public park at any time, except that the provisions of this section shall not apply to the Community Center building located in Treder Park.

§ 12.36.130. Use of bicycles, skateboards, skates, roller blades, scooters and similar…¶
No person, except for law enforcement personnel, shall pedal, skate, ride or propel any bicycle, skateboard, skates, roller blades, scooters or similar wheeled recreational devices in any public park, civic center or city public property designated by resolution of the city council and posted in accordance with this section.
