Bell Municipal Code Ch. 1.08 City Seal

There is adopted as the official seal of the city that certain impression and engraving, which is generally described as follows:

A circular seal 1 and 7/8 inches in diameter, outside border. 1/16-inch rolled circle enclosing a 1/4-inch circular space within a 1/32-inch dotted circle within and enclosing a circular space 1 and 3/16 inches in diameter; in the 1/4-inch circular space in the top segment thereof appear the words "City of Bell, Cal." in 5/32-inch letters.

In the bottom segment of said outside circular space shall appear the words in 3/32-inch letters "Incorporated Nov. 7, 1927."

Within the inner circular space shall be the impression of a bell, 15/16 of an inch long and 13/16 of an inch wide, tilted to the left and pointed at the letter O at a 60 degree angle; through the eye of the bell is a key, 15/16 of an inch long with a 1/16-inch shaft, 3/16-inch handle and three key teeth.
