Chapter 2.12 — CITY CLERK—CITY TREASURER

The city clerk and city treasurer shall execute to the city an official bond for the true and faithful performance of their respective official duties. The penal sum of each such bond shall be in a reasonable amount recommended by the city attorney and fixed by resolution of the city council. The city council may change the penal sum of the bonds during an incumbent's term of office.

The city clerk shall compile and publish a local appointments list in accordance with Government Code § 54970 et seq.
