2.28.010 - Official bond—City clerk.¶
The city clerk shall be required to furnish an official bond to be approved by the city council, for the sum of at least one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00), which shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties imposed upon the city clerk. The premium for such bond shall be a proper charge against the city.

2.28.020 - Official bond—Finance director.¶
The finance director shall be required to furnish an official bond to be approved by the city council, for the sum of at least one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00), which shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties imposed upon the finance director. The premium for such bond shall be a proper charge against the city.

2.28.030 - Official bond—Accounting clerk.¶
The accounting clerk shall be required to furnish an official bond to be approved by the city council, for the sum of at least fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), which shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties imposed upon the accounting clerk. The premium for such bond shall be a proper charge against the city.

2.28.040 - Official bond—Office staff.¶
The office staff (which shall include those handling monies) shall be required to furnish an official bond to be approved by the city council, for the sum of at least twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), which shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties imposed upon the office staff. The premium for such bond shall be a proper charge against the city.

2.28.050 - Official bond—Police department administrative assistant.¶
The police department administrative assistant shall be required to furnish an official bond to be approved by the city council, for the sum of at least twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), which shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties imposed upon the police department administrative assistant. The premium for such bond shall be a proper charge against the city.

2.28.060 - Insurance policy or master bond in lieu of official bonds.¶
The city may procure a government crime insurance policy or employee dishonesty insurance policy, including faithful performance, or a master bond, as an alternative to the provision of one (1) or more official bonds required by this chapter or the city manager's bond required by Section 2.06.040. The premium for such policy or policies, or master bond, shall be a proper charge against the city.
