    • CREATION.

There is created an Administrative Services Department whose head shall be the Administrative Services Director. Consistent with the Arcadia City Charter and other provisions of this Code, this Department is also deemed the Department of Finance and its department head shall also be head of the Department of Finance.

    • CONTROLLER AS DEPARTMENT HEAD.

The City Controller shall ex officio be the department head of the Department of Finance.

    • ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE.

In addition to the functions and duties required to be performed by the Controller by the Charter, the Department of Finance shall prepare and maintain accurate current records of all accounts receivable of the City, based on pertinent data received from the respective departments of the City, and shall make timely billings of all such accounts receivable.

    • GENERAL.

The Department of Finance shall perform such other services as may from time to time be specified by ordinance or resolution of the Council.
