7524. - DEPOSITS.

The Administrative Services Director or his designee, as a condition to granting such application and furnishing water to said premises, is authorized to and may require a deposit for every service meter. The Administrative Services Director or his designee may require a similar deposit for any service that has been delinquent for more than two (2) consecutive months or as a condition precedent to resumption of service where service has been discontinued for non-payment of service theretofore furnished.

7524.1. - SAME. DISPOSITION.

Such deposit shall be refunded when the service is discontinued, provided all charges to the applicant by the Department have been paid. Otherwise, such deposit shall be applied to the applicant's account. In the event an applicant is not more than two weeks delinquent in any billing period for two consecutive years, such deposit shall be refunded to such applicant by the Department.
