Arcadia Municipal Code Div. 1 Definitions

Whenever in this Part the following terms are used they shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the following subsections unless it is apparent from the context thereof that some other meaning is intended.

Any dog of any age, including female as well as male.

Having been received into the custody of any pound authorized under the provisions of this Part.

Any lot, building, structure, enclosure, or premises whereupon or wherein four (4) or more dogs are kept or maintained for any purpose, including places where dogs are boarded, kept for sale, or kept for hire.

Any person keeping or harboring a dog for fifteen (15) or more consecutive days shall be deemed to be the owner thereof.

Any dog for which the license for the current year has not been paid, or any dog to which the tag for the current year provided for in this Part is not attached.
