3611. - DEFINITIONS.¶

3611.1. - SAME. HELICOPTER.¶

Helicopter shall mean any rotorcraft which depends principally for its support and motion in the air upon the lift generated by one or more power-driven rotors, rotating on substantially vertical axis. ;hn0; (Added by Ord. No. 1186 adopted 9-18-62)

3611.2. - SAME. HELIPORT.¶

Heliport shall mean any area of land or a structural surface which is used or intended to be used for the landing or taking off of helicopters, and other buildings or facilities used in connection therewith. ;hn0; (Added by Ord. No. 1186 adopted 9-18-62)
