§ 5-7.01 REQUIRED.¶
Every person engaged in the business of conducting or operating a hotel, inn, rooming house, lodging house, auto camp, or other similar place in the city shall require all guests to sign their names and write their addresses in a book kept for that purpose; provided, however, minor children accompanied by a parent need not sign their names or write their addresses in such book.

§ 5-7.02 REGISTRATION BOOK.¶
(A) Open to inspection. Such registration book shall at all times be open to public inspection.
(B) Period to be retained. Such registration book shall be kept for a period of not less than five years after the last registration in the same.

§ 5-7.03 FICTITIOUS NAMES.¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to register at any hotel, inn, rooming house, lodging house, auto camp, or other similar place in the city under the name of any other person or a fictitious person, or to give or sign, or cause to be signed, upon the register of any such hotel, inn, rooming house, lodging house, auto camp, or other similar place any assumed, false, or fictitious name, or any name other than the true and correct name of the person so registering or so giving or signing or causing his name to be signed.

§ 5-7.04 POSTING CHAPTER PROVISIONS.¶
A copy of the provisions of this chapter shall be posted in a conspicuous place in each such hotel, inn, rooming house, lodging house, auto camp, or other similar place at all times.

§ 5-7.05 HOURLY ROOM RATES PROHIBITED.¶
No person conducting or owning any establishment described in § 5-7.01 and no person in charge, management, or control of such an establishment shall let or cause to be let any room or area of the establishment for a period of fewer than 12 hours, nor shall any such person let or cause to be rented any room or area of the establishment more than twice in any 24-hour period commencing at 12:01 a.m.
