§ 4-7.501 FAILURE TO ABATE.

In the event the city elects to perform the abatement work to remove the nuisance, all notices to abate, abatement hearings, abatement actions, abatement costs and appeal procedures shall be made pursuant to the procedures set forth in Title 5, Chapter 1, Article 3 of this code.

§ 4-7.502 PROCEDURES FOR IMPOSITION AND COLLECTION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT LIENS.

Whenever the city has completed abatement work under this chapter, the costs of abatement, notifications of amounts and hearing rights shall be implemented in the same manner as set forth in §§ 5-1.309 and 5-1.310 of this code.

§ 4-7.503 COSTS AS SPECIAL ASSESSMENT LIEN.

Costs of abatement incurred by the city under this chapter shall constitute a special assessment lien against the property on which the violation and abatement occurred.
