§ 2-3.701 CREATED.

There is hereby created in the government of the city a Department of Information Systems.

§ 2-3.702 OPERATION.

The Department of Information Systems shall be operated under the authority of the Director of Information Systems, subject to the direction of the City Manager.

§ 2-3.703 OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES.

The Department of Information Systems shall consist of the Director of Information Systems and such other employees with such titles and duties as may from time to time be fixed by resolution of the Council.

§ 2-3.704 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

The Department of Information Systems shall provide general information services to the city, including, but not limited to, acquisition and maintenance of computer hardware and software, telephone and communication systems, and informa-tion network systems, and other duties as assigned by the City Manager.
