9.40.010 - Prohibited.

No person shall intentionally deface, tear, tear down, obliterate or destroy any copy, transcript or extract of or from any ordinance of the city which is posted in, on or along any highway or other public place, or any proclamation, advertisement or notice set up at any place by authority of this code or other ordinances of the city, before the expiration of the time in which such proclamation, advertisement or notice was to remain set up. A violation of any of the provisions of this section shall constitute an infraction, punishable as set forth in Section 1.20.010 of this code.
