Anaheim Municipal Code Ch. 14.57 Traffic Control

No person shall direct, or attempt to direct, traffic by voice, hand, or other signal or operate any traffic signal or device upon a public street or public parking lot or facility owned or operated by the City of Anaheim. (Ord. 5731 § 1 (part); June 13, 2000.)

Section 14.57.010 shall not apply to the following:

(a) A public safety officer in the performance of that officer’s duties;

(b) A Traffic Control Officer in the performance of that officer’s duties;

(c) An employee of a party contracting directly with the City of Anaheim to provide such services;

(d) A person acting at the direction of a public safety officer; or

(e) A person responding to an emergency or traffic accident until the arrival of public safety personnel. (Ord. 5731 § 1 (part); June 13, 2000.)
