3-46.1 - Distribution Generally.¶
Amounts received in payment of taxes, penalties, and costs, or on redemption or on sale of tax sold property or tax deeded property, shall be distributed in the order of the subsections in this section. Distribution under each subsection in turn shall be made as fully as possible before proceeding to the succeeding subsections.

3-46.2 - Definitions.¶
As used in this section:
a. Taxes shall mean and include assessments.
b. Funds shall mean and include a revenue district.

3-46.3 - Amounts Forfeited.¶
All amounts forfeited by bidders for failure to complete purchases shall be distributed to the General Fund.

3-46.4 - Amounts for Costs.¶
Amounts received to reimburse the City for any costs of publication or other expenses and the amount collected as the cost of preparing the delinquent list shall be distributed to the General Fund.

3-46.5 - Balance; Where Credited.¶
The balance remaining shall be credited to the General Fund, except that if in the fiscal year for which the taxes were levied any fund did not receive from taxes collected in that year the total amount of money appropriated or allocated in the budget for such year to such fund, then such balance shall be apportioned according to the rate of that year until each fund has received the total amount so appropriated or allocated in such budget.
