Chapter 1 — GENERAL PROVISIONS — Agoura Hills Planning Code

10100. - Authority. ¶

Pursuant to the provisions of Division 2 of Title 7 of the Government Code of the State of California, referred to herein as the Subdivision Map Act, and pursuant to any other regulations provided by law, the regulations hereinafter set forth in this article shall be known as the subdivision ordinance. Any reference in this article to the Subdivision Map Act or a specific section thereof shall refer to the Subdivision Map Act as most currently amended. In the event that a cited section has been renumbered, or combined with another section, the reference shall be to the most recent equivalent for the cited section.

10101. - Purpose. ¶

This article is adopted to supplement and implement the Subdivision Map Act concerning the design and improvement of subdivisions and to coordinate subdivision planning with the general plan of the City of Agoura Hills.

10102. - Applicability. ¶

Except as specifically excluded by the Subdivision Map Act or this subdivision ordinance, the provisions of this article shall apply to any division of real property wholly or partially within the city and shall govern the filing, processing, approval, conditional approval, or disapproval of tentative, final and parcel maps and any modifications thereof.
