The Charter was ratified by the qualified electors of the City at an election held on November 3, 1992.

First Amendment (Section 601) November 5, 2002

Second Amendment (Section 601) November 2, 2004

We, the people of the City of Adelanto, County of San Bernardino, State of California, do ordain and establish this Charter as the organic law of said City under and by virtue of the Constitution of the said State.
