Article 5 — Violations

Any violation of this Chapter shall be subject to the administrative code enforcement ordinance of the County, set forth in Chapter 5 of Title 1 of the Yolo County Code. Any administrative enforcement action undertaken in response

to a violation of this chapter, in the sole discretion of the Enforcement Officer or other responsible staff person, need not utilize the Courtesy Notice or Notice of Violation provisions of Chapter 5 of Title 1, and may instead immediately issue an administrative citation. Fines imposed by an administrative citation for a continuing violation shall apply for each day that the violation is ongoing until it is fully abated in the manner specified in the administrative citation. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of this Section and Chapter 5 of Title 1, this Section shall govern. (§ 5, Ord. 1426, eff. February 28, 2013; as amended by § 7, Ord. 1501, eff. Any activity in violation of this Chapter or any permit issued hereunder shall be considered a public nuisance. In his or her sole discretion, the Director may take any action authorized by law to address the public nuisance, including but not limited to referral of the matter to the District attorney for civil or criminal action.
