SEC. 30.3. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE OFFICE OF ECONOMIC AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT.

The Office of Economic and Workforce Development shall:

(a) Support the work of the WISF and assist the WISF with planning and coordination of all Workforce Development Services in the City. It shall perform additional duties as directed by the Mayor in order to promote more effective and efficient provision of Workforce Development Services; and

(b) Manage the First Source Hiring Program under Chapter 83 and, to the extent consistent with the Charter, administer all funds appropriated by the City to fund the First Source Hiring Program.
