SEC. 16.46. WHEN MEMBERSHIP CEASES.

Should the City and County service of any member, in any period of 10 consecutive years, amount to less than five years, or should he die or be retired, or should he be paid more than one-quarter of his accumulated normal contribution, or should he resign or be discharged, he shall thereupon cease to be a member.
