Chapter 17.37 — CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE

Certificates of compliance shall be sought and issued as provided in Section 66499.35 of the Subdivision Map Act and as provided in this chapter.

If, after application, the public works director/city engineer determines that real property is in compliance with the Subdivision Map Act and this title, he shall cause a certificate of compliance to be issued and recorded with the county recorder.

If, upon application, the public works director/city engineer determines that real property is not in compliance with the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act and this title, he may, as a condition to granting a certificate of compliance, require that the applicant make a submission under this title as if applying for a parcel or final map as is appropriate. The applicant shall pay all fees as if applying for a map and conditions may be imposed as if applying for a map subject to the limitations as contained in Section 66499.35.
