Chapter 20.08 — ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT

The "Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970," adopted by the California Resources Agency and found in Title 14, Division 6 of the California Administrative Code, are hereby adopted by reference, including the amendments adopted February 22, May 3 and May 31, 1975, and any further amendments that might hereafter be adopted.

The city council is authorized to adopt rules, regulations, and procedures to implement the "Guidelines for Implementation of the Environmental Quality Act of 1970" by resolution to carry out the purposes, principles, objectives, criteria, and definitions found therein as might be consistent therewith and in the best interests to the city.
