Sales per year	Up to 2 sales every 12 months. Applies: Per residential lot, by a person living there. § 17.44.165 · code text may be conducted on two occasions every 12 months for up to two consecutive days each occasion. 1 extra permit in the same 12 months, for up to 2 days in a row. Applies: Only for an estate sale of a deceased main resident's goods; a death certificate is required. § 17.44.165 · code text However, one additional sale permit may be issued on the same lot or parcel during the same 12-month period for a maximum of two consecutive days if it is for the sole purpose of an estate sale.
Signs	Sale signs may not go on trees, shrubs, public buildings or property, public rights-of-way, or parkways. § 17.44.165 · code text no signs advertising a garage, estate, or yard sale shall be placed, attached, or installed on any tree, shrub, tree stake or guard, or upon any public building or structure, or upon any building or structure located upon public property or in, over or across the public rights-of-way, or within a parkway.
