How long a sale may last
  • A garage sale may last no more than 3 calendar days.

Sales per year
  • Up to 3 garage sales per calendar year.

    Garage sales shall be limited to three (3) such sales in each calendar year for each individual or group.
Signs
  • 1 sign, at most 6 square feet; remove when the sale ends or after day 3, whichever first; off right-of-way.
    Applies: On the property where the sale is held.

    One temporary sign not exceeding six (6) square feet in area advertising a garage sale on the premises where the sign is posted shall be permitted for a period not to exceed three (3) calendar days.
  • 2 direction signs up to 3 square feet each, for up to 3 sale days; not in public right-of-way.
    Applies: At places other than the sale property.

    Two (2) temporary signs, not exceeding three (3) square feet in area, for the purpose of directing traffic to a residential garage sale shall be permitted at locations other than on the premises where the garage sale is being conducted.
